This is what you’ve made possible!

Dear Friends,

Growing up in an orphanage in Haiti, I had big dreams that seemed impossible. I wanted to attend college in the U.S. and become a man who made a difference in this world. Out of that accomplished dream, and an earnest desire to open similar doors for my brothers and sisters still in Haiti, came The 509 Foundation. Soon, we will celebrate our first graduate!

Kesnel has just begun his senior year at Hope College, and he has his sights set on taking the gift of a U.S. education and becoming a successful, visionary, and godly leader for Haiti. There is so much to celebrate!

However, to help Kesnel complete his senior year, and to help Dieula and Moise complete their junior year, we need to raise $37,450 by December 15th.

Will you partner with us to keep the miracle in motion?

Here is what your support is making possible, in their own words:

Kesnel: “This summer, I worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern with The Sherwin-Williams Company. It was my first opportunity to see what it looks like to promote health and safety in a professional workplace and it was incredible. When I began at Hope, I never imagined how many experiences I would have that would help me better understand my purpose and the kind of impact I can make, and it’s all because of you! My education will be more than a degree; it will become a way for me to serve others and make a meaningful difference. I dream of using chemistry and global health to improve the well-being of at-risk communities.”

Dieula: “My clinical this fall is on a psychiatric hospital unit with kids and adolescents. It is an honor to be with them at their most vulnerable and to help them grow. This has been the highlight of my semester so far, and all of this would not have been possible without your financial support and belief in me. I'm grateful for every person who has blessed me with this opportunity, allowing me to receive an excellent education and reach my goal of serving God’s people through nursing.”

Moise: “My semester in the Oregon immersive experience helped me see the world with more compassion. I have removed myself from the corner and engaged more with people by stepping into leadership roles at Hope. This year, I have stepped up as a peer advisor for Hope College's off-campus office. I am also an intern for the 'Hope Advocate for Sustainability Team.' This is a big year with a lot of amazing opportunities because of your generosity and belief in my dream. I am one step closer to achieving my goal of a college education and making a difference in this world—and I can’t thank you enough.”

Every dollar makes a difference, and every dollar is invested directly into their education. You can give to a specific student’s journey, or make a general gift that will be applied to all three students.

None of this would be possible without you. Your financial support, prayers, and personal investment have given three exceptional students an opportunity that will forever change their lives and equip them for meaningful work for the glory of God.

Now let’s finish what we started! GIVE TODAY to impact the inspiring stories of these incredible students!

With deep gratitude,
Andre
